The AUO B173HAN04.3 is a high-quality 17.3 inch TFT-LCD display designed for use in laptops. Its active area measures 381.888(H)×214.812(V) mm, with an outline dimension of 389.89(H)×238.31(V) ×3.5(D) mm. The panel features a pixel format of 1920(RGB)×1080, resulting in a crisp and clear full high definition (FHD) display with a pixel density of 127 pixels per inch (PPI).

This panel uses an a-Si (amorphous silicon) TFT-LCD technology with an RGB vertical stripe configuration. It offers a high contrast ratio of 800:1 (Typ.) (TM) and a luminance of 300 cd/m² (Typ.). The display has a symmetrical viewing direction with a response time of 25 (Typ.)(Tr+Td), and a viewing angle of 85/85/85/85 (Typ.)(CR≥10).
